1. Setting Up Your Development Environment

1.1. Installing Required Software

Any text editor will do the job. I’m using Emacs, but I also like IntelliJ’s WebStorm. Your life will be better if you use an editor or IDE that has some syntax highlighting and real-time code inspection.

The graphics for Doctor Robot were mostly made in an app called Sprite Something on an iPad, but any graphics program will do the trick.

Sounds were made with SFXR on an android tablet, but there are many similar noise-making tools.
